Brady Schweitzer is a native of upstate New York and a graduate of Siena College. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science with a focus in Marketing, however always had an interest in working more creatively in the fashion industry.
Moving to New York City after graduating, Brady joined Calvin Klein in 2007 assisting the Creative Director and design team for the CK Calvin Klein Asia/Europe label. This opened him up to managing a brand with a global presence, sparking his yearning to travel more in the future.
He joined the Fashion Office, a creative branch of the Calvin Klein advertising team in 2010, and was promoted to Fashion Director- Asia Pacific in 2016 where he relocated to Hong Kong for four years for the role. This gave him valuable international experience throughout Asia, also working closely with the Calvin Klein Global team in New York and the Calvin Klein Europe team in Amsterdam. He led all casting and styling initiatives, including hair/makeup direction and model body language for photo shoots, while always keeping true to the brand’s aesthetic. Brady also managed celebrity and influencer relationships within Calvin Klein Asia, and is very comfortable working with VIP clientele.
After a 12+ year tenure with the brand, Brady left Calvin Klein in 2020, and freelanced with an Australian women’s fashion label based in Sydney, Estilo Emporio. He helped them with their casting, styling and creative photo shoot needs for their Spring/Summer ’20 collection, before relocating back to New York in the summer of 2020.
Brady then held freelance styling positions in New York for many different clients, including Amazon, Zappos and Rent the Runway. In late 2021, he was hired on a full time contract basis with Michael Kors acting as the in-house Casting Director and Lead Producer for E-Commerce shoots, Lookbooks & Special Events. Brady led all casting initiatives, production elements, as well as oversaw the yearly photoshoot budget for the brand. This has given him a well-rounded understanding of running a photo studio from start to finish with his creative to operational knowledge in the industry.
Since then, Brady has worked as a Creative Producer for many clients including Hugo Boss, Oliver Peoples and Ray-Ban, as well as continued his freelance styling position at Rent the Runway. In 2024, he rejoined the Calvin Klein Fashion Office as a Creative Consultant, leading content initiatives for global lookbooks, Calvin Klein Underwear shoots and beyond. This position oversees creative on all photo shoot elements, and also works cross functionally between merchanding, design, VM and marketing teams.
